3D building models LoD2 Germany (LoD2-DE)

The 3D building data “Level of Detail 2” represent Germany’s building stock with simplified roof shapes. The data is derived from ALKIS (defined by the ALKIS object type catalog). Underground buildings and structures are not taken into account. The location accuracy of the data corresponds to the floor plan of the building, the height accuracy is about 5 m. Attributes include the height of the building, the object identifier, the quality information function (metadata), the official municipal code and the name. The data is received by the Central Office for House Coordinates and House Surroundings (ZSHH) on a country-by-country basis and will be forwarded to authorities exclusively by the BKG.
