The model covers an area of about 2 100 km² along the Lower Saxony North Sea coast between the cities of Cuxhaven, Stade and Bremerhaven and is designed as a base layer model. The subsurface is depicted up to the quaternary base with a total of 19 geological units.
With the help of helicopter electromagnetic data (HEM), the pressure zone of Wingst/Lamstedt was modeled as a top layer. The units of the Zechstein (EW_18) and the chalk (EW_19) are also shown as top layers.
