Dataset description

The actual use represents ground surfaces and describes how ground and soil are currently used on site. The actual use is maintained as part of the basic data base of ALKIS and includes spatial objects, which are divided into the four nationwide uniform object species groups settlement, traffic, vegetation and waters. All properties of the 36 Object Types of Actual Use are recorded in the ALKIS Object Type Catalogue Bayern (ALKIS-OK BY) of version 1.0. The data of the actual use are only provided in vector format (shape) in digital form.Expressions from the ALKIS-compliant database are only available with the introduction of ALKIS.
