Dataset description

The download service is the prototypical implementation of an INSPIRE-compliant Web Feature Service in version 2.0.0. The WFS was developed as part of the master thesis development and application of download services in the context of the European spatial data infrastructure INSPIRE. The FeatureTypes provided are based on the OpenData Administrative Limits (ATKIS) of the Bavarian Survey Administration (http://vermessung.bayern.de/opendata). The service transmits the objects of municipalities, districts, administrative districts and administrative communities as well as the border of the Free State of Bavaria.
