Dataset description

In a digital flight on 18 March 2020, hundreds of individual images were taken vertically from an aircraft. From the high-resolution images, so-called True Orthophotos for the city of Braunschweig were created for the first time. True orthophotos offer the advantage over classic orthophotos that outstanding objects are no longer tilted from the site. This aerial mosaic of the urban area can be superimposed with maps. It is possible to measure routes and calculate areas on it.
