Dataset description

Map service “Artesian-tensioned groundwater deposits in Brandenburg” contains all the location points known to the Brandenburg Geological Service of boreholes in the Cenozoic Locker Rockstock, where artesian stretched groundwaters were encountered. The maps are based on unpublished archive documents and Drilling data from the State Department of Mining, Geology and Raw Materials (LBGR) as well as documents from third parties and represent the level of knowledge at the time of construction of the respective borehole.
