Dataset description

DGM5 — Digital terrain model The DGM5 for Saarland was created by photogrammetric evaluations and digitisation of vertical lines and elevation points from final editions of the German Basic Map 1:5 000 (DGK5). The altitude accuracy of this terrain model is ± 0.5 m. The DGM5 consists of regular grid points. In addition, structural data (edges and rib lines) are retained in dxf format if available. Since the DGM1 was established in 2006, the DGM 5 has not been continued.
