Atlas of the Geology of Brandenburg

The Atlas of Geology of Brandenburg was issued by the State Office for Mining, Geology and Raw Materials Brandenburg. Using 46 maps in the A3 transverse format and each assigned explanations starting from the surface advancing deeper and deeper into the subsurface of the country, the alternating earth-historical development and the geopotentials are presented. The introductory text explains the relationship with the geology of Europe. The annex also contains tabular stratigraphic overviews, various tables on minerals, fossils and geotopes, a summary of well-known geoscientists and geohistorical sites in Brandenburg and Berlin, a glossary and literature references.
