Dataset description

Sediments of the lower keuper (central trias) can only be found in the eastern part of the study area in edge sinks of salt structures. Further west, no keuper has been preserved due to the late Jurassic to Cretaceous erosion. The deep position generally increases along the salt structures from north to south and reaches its maximum in the edges of the salt wall Linda/Liane. High altitudes are mainly located in the north of the study area.
