Dataset description

Boulders are relics of the Ice Ages and are the most striking witnesses to the former glaciation of northern Germany. The book, illustrated with numerous, partly coloured illustrations, gives an overview of the classification of the boulders by size, composition and origin, the determination of volume and weight, the transport of ice, the distribution of the boulders and their history.
