Dataset description
The data set contains the polygons of the 44 urban and rural districts of Baden-Württemberg.
The geometry data of the circle boundary 1:2,000 (data source: Surveying on site) comes from the ALKIS topic “Kreis” of the “User-orientedly prepared spatial data Baden-Württemberg (NORA_BW)” and are linked to the subject attributes of the Baden-Württemberg Statistical Office after a geometric validation in the UIS.
Analogously with the circle boundary 1:10,000 (data source: Recording from the Digital Orthophoto) procedure. The geometry data used for this purpose comes from the basic DLM theme “circle” from NORA_BW. This dataset is also validated geometrically and enriched with regard to the material data. In addition, the shoreline of the AWGN specialist objects “Bodensee — Obersee” and “Bodensee — Untersee” is used as a borderline in the area of Lake Constance.
