Dataset description

The vertical layer lines were created from the digital terrain model (DGM1). With their help, the location of elevations/depths of the site, as well as their terrain heights, can be determined more easily. The application is very helpful for the determination of embankments in the topographic maps of the “German Basic Map” and its successor to the “Official Base Map”.
