City of Gelsenkirchen: Avenue cadastre NRW

Digital data (tree locations) of legally protected avenues according to § 41 LNatschG NRW (on § 29(3) of the Federal Nature Protection Act) — Alleen in NRW; Avenues on public or private traffic areas and economic routes are protected by law. The removal of avenues and any actions that may lead to their destruction, damage or adverse alteration are prohibited. The State Office for Nature, Environment and Consumer Protection (LANUV) manages a nationwide cadastre of legally protected avenues. The protected avenues must be incorporated in the landscape plan as well as in the respective regulatory ordinance. The present database represents a concreteisation (tree locations) of the LANUV catalytic converter.
