Dataset description

The service transmits the data of the Digital Height Line Map in 3 different colors (black, white and brown). The vertical lines are available throughout Bavaria. The service is optimised for displaying the 1:5,000 scale height lines. The data are only suitable to measure to a limited extent. The contour lines are derived from the laser scanning data. The retrievable map section per WMS call is limited to a maximum of 2,000 x 2,000 pixels.
