Dataset description

The data set contains the nationwide amounts of cycling (the data set presented in the Saarland geoportal concerns the Saarland) which were recorded by users via app during the years 2018 to 2020 as part of the campaign Stadtradeln des Klima-Bündnis e.V. and in the course of the research project MOVEBIS. The data were then prepared by the professorships of computer networks and traffic ecology at TU Dresden, cleaned by outliers and other means of transport and then projected onto an OSM network graph. An adapted version of the Open Source Routing Machine (OSRM) was used for this purpose.
