Data of levels on above-ground waters-DE

The Federal Institute for Water Studies collects within the framework of the administrative agreement on data exchange in the field of environment, no. 12.02. Surface inland waters listed in Annex I., water level, drainage and master data of selected levels from the countries. The provision of the above-mentioned data by the Länder serves to fulfil the tasks of the Federal Republic of Germany arising from supra- and international conventions and obligations. In addition, the Federal Government has the task of creating an overall picture of water-relevant aspects across the country’s borders in order to be able to meet the information needs. This metadata set describes “EnvironmentalMonitoringFacility” as an object type of the INSPIRE Annex theme III “Environmental Monitoring”.
