Dataset description

These are data from the nationwide modelling of wind potential based on the Baden-Württemberg wind atlas 2019 in conjunction with the criteria catalogue, which defines exclusion areas and areas with known restrictions. In the criteria catalogue, the exclusion areas are described as “predominantly unsuitable”, the restricted areas as “conditionally suitable”. The data were compiled as part of the Baden-Württemberg Energy Atlas.
