Digital floor overview map of Thuringia 1: 200 000 (BÜK200)

The BÜK 200 shows the distribution of associated soil forms with their properties and thus provides a basis for supra-regional thematic evaluations. The legend units contain area-weighted information on soil types and soil-forming substrates with their stratification. The surface floor forms are grouped together at the level of the soil subtypes or types and the substrate type. In parallel to the creation of the map work, an area database is being set up, which should contain all the material and graphic data of the BÜK 200 at the end. The area database contains basic soil and geological data such as ground outcrops and their stratification, soil type, soil type, humus content and carbonate content, as well as additional site-related information on terrain slope, groundwater level and type of use.
