Distribution of groundwater stock as a shelf layer of the digital hydrogeological map 1:100 000. The representation together with the separate compartment layers groundwater equals and bases for the creation of the groundwater equals is recommended. Zoom limit min 1:200 000 to max. 1:50 000. An aquifer is an aquifer including its upper and lower boundary as a viewing unit within the perpendicular structure of the lithosphere. In the case of hydraulic connection, groups of aquifers are also considered as a uniform groundwater stock plant. The dHK100 was created between 2000 and 2015 (planning region 14 Munich to 2019) according to planning regions. Technical map bases of all layers of the dHK100 and HK100 were i.e. the available geological maps on a scale of 1:25 000 and 1: 50 000 to the respective processing stage. Their geometries were partly generalised. There is no systematic update of the dHK100. Due to the planning region’s processing over longer periods of time, geometric and attributive inconsistencies between the groundwater stock plant units encountering there can occur along the planning region boundaries. These are due to different basic geological maps from which the hydrogeological maps are derived. Geometries and legend units are designed for an overview scale 1:100 000 (1 cm on a map correspond to 1 km in nature) and are generally generalised. The dHK100 or HK100 is intended as a basis for large-scale considerations. It does not replace detailed examinations and assessments by a specialist office in the planning of local projects. Scale-related accuracy does not change due to the scale-independent visualisation possibilities of digital map works. For further interpretations that combine or intersect the map work with other spatial data sets, it should be noted that an intersection of spatial data of greatly different resolution or target scales or different type of attribuing can lead to implausible or difficult to interpret results.
