A digital terrain model (DGM) describes the natural terrain shape of the earth’s surface through georeferenced elevation points. Objects such as vegetation and buildings are not displayed. The elevation points are regularly arranged grid points with a certain lattice width. The DGM1 has a grid width of 1 m.
