Dataset description
The service transmits the data of the digital colorinfrared orthophoto (CIR-DOP20). Digital orthophotos are equal, scale-to-scale aerial images. CIR-DOP will be systematically created with the introduction of digital recording technology from 2009 onwards. The bottom pixel size is 20 cm. For more information, visit: http://www.ldbv.bayern.de/vermessung/luftbilder/bayernbefliegung.html An additional metadata layer allows the user to get an overview of the topicality of orthophotos. The retrievable map section per WMS call is limited to a maximum of 4,000 x 4,000 pixels.
