Dataset description

Digital surface models (DOM) describe the Earth’s surface including all fixed and moving objects. These include forests and structures (buildings, bridges and high-voltage lines) as well as dormant and flowing traffic. They are interpolated from original measurement data as a regular grid. The dominant methods for collecting measurement data are airborne laser scanning and image correlation based on oriented aerial image pairs.
