District of Gütersloh: Landscape spaces

Data of the LANUV NRW. In the specialist article according to § 15a (2) LG NRW, landscape areas are defined and described as planning-related spatial units. Their demarcation refers to natural conditions, such as those underlying the natural spatial structure, and also takes into account the current utilisation structures — infrastructure, structural use, forestry and agriculture. The contents of the landscape documents refer to the natural equipment (geology, climate, soils, waters, relief, potential natural vegetation, real use) and the cultural development of the landscape. In addition, guiding principles for the individual landscape areas are developed in accordance with the requirements of species and biotope protection and derived conservation and development goals for the landscape area or parts of the respective landscape.
