Dataset description

The country’s digital administrative borders are managed and distributed separately to the ATKIS® Basis DLM. Due to the reduced dot density and a thinned content, this vector database is particularly suitable for overview purposes. The administrative boundaries are tiered according to district, administrative and municipal boundaries. The areas formed by the borders are marked with the name and the official statistical key number. Other attributes are administrative headquarters and administrative level. Dowloads as an atomic feed.
