Dataset description

This download service contains the area proportions of natural forest reserves in relation to the respective area of the federal state (m² per km²) in Germany. The data shall be published every three years; the first year of publication was 2013. The data base is continuously collected by the forest research institutes of the federal states — at the same time rights holders of data — and provided by the Information Centre for Biological Diversity (IBV) of the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food (BLE). This is a free download service (Web Feature Service) of the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
