Dataset description

The download service provides data on the occurrence, number of trees, state of nature rejuvenation, vitality, conservation capability of the occurrences and the resulting gene centers of the yews based on grid cells (5 km x 5 km). The results come from a survey on rare forest tree species in Germany, carried out on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL). Access to data is limited. The publication is intended to support the conservation and sustainable use of the tree species yew in Germany.
