Dataset description

The data set contains the dynamic forest climate levels in the Free State of Saxony after a 30-year period (1971-2000). Climate levels are designations for larger rooms with similar characteristics of the mesoclimate. A climate level arises from the combination of height level and humidity level. Typical climate levels in Saxony are the moderately dry hill country and the humid higher mountain locations. The data is used for the forest location map.
