European Water Framework Directive (EC-WFD): Causes of failure to achieve good status of groundwater bodies (GWK), management cycle 2009-2015

The maps contain information on the causes of non-achievement of WFD-relevant groundwater bodies in the Free State of Thuringia. In accordance with the causes identified, measures have been deduced that are appropriate to remedy the corresponding deficits. Information on the causes of non-achievement of the groundwater bodies and/or statements regarding the measures derived from them are presented in the following maps: — GWK load from mining and salts — GWK load due to contaminated loads — GWK nitrate load The data is intended to provide general information to the public about the causes of failure to achieve good status and the planned measures in the WFD-relevant groundwater bodies in Thuringia.
