FFH Areas in Schleswig-Holstein Downloaddienst

Download service on the Annex 1 topic Protected Areas for the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein. The shape includes the delimitations of the sites included by the European Commission in the List of Sites of Community Importance (SCI List). (Commission Decisions of 12 and 13 November 2007 published in the Official Journal of the European Union of 15.1.2008) In Schleswig-Holstein, all bird protection areas and sites of Community importance (GGB or englisch:SCI) have been declared as Special Protected Areas under national law (NSG, LSG or European Bird Protection Areas, unless designated as NSG or LSG, in accordance with Paragraph 4 of the LNatSchG in conjunction with § 33(1) BNatSchG in conjunction with § 24(1) LNatSchG and the formally announced territorial conservation objectives) as Special Protected Areas (SPA or SAC). Accordingly, all FFH areas in Schleswig-Holstein are to be designated as the Special Protected Area (SAC).
