Dataset description

The method fine soil type is based on basic data of the vineyard soil mapping Rhineland-Palatinate and the classification of the soil map instructions (KA5). The fine soil species of the vineyard soil map have been reinterpreted by experts and adapted to the current standard soil species of the KA5. The fine soil types are shown in a separate map for the layer Rigol horizon or the layer substrate. A variability of the characteristic expression in the surface or within a layer is indicated by a hatching.
