The data set contains flood protection facilities in the Free State of Bavaria. These include systems of various construction methods, such as fixed dikes and flood protection walls or mobile dam beam systems, which are only installed in the event of floods. Also included are combinations of flood protection walls and mobile dam beams, which are closed in the event of flooding.
