Dataset description
Legal basis: Section 76 Water Resources Act (WHG). The lower water authorities have been responsible since 2005.
Flooding areas are the areas that are flooded statistically every 100 years (HQ 100). Flood zones have been identified for waters from which a potential hazard can be assumed. Subsequently, they were provisionally secured and partly already fixed by Regulation. In addition, flood risk areas are defined on the basis of a larger outflow event.
Flooding areas in the district of Göttingen and areas to be secured provisionally, which are not yet prescribed:
Aue, Dramme, Eller, Fulda, Garte, Große Lonau, Hahle, Harste, Leine, Lutter, Nathe, Nieme, Oder, Rase und Grundbach, Rhume, Rodebach, Scheede, Suhle, Schneenbach, Schwülme, Sieber, Söse, Wendebach, Werra,Weser, Wieda, Zorge.
