Dataset description
The flood hazard areas show which areas are affected in flood events with varying probability of occurrence. This makes it possible to compare which areas are under water at a frequent (HQ frequent), 100-yearly (HQ100) and extreme floods (HQextrem). The flood zones are provisionally secured on the basis of flood hazard areas for a HQ100 by official notice and subsequently determined in a formal procedure by ordinance (Section 76 Water Resources Act). In flooding areas, usage restrictions apply. Maximum image size: 4096 x 4096 pixels.
