Dataset description
The soil function maps were drawn up according to the Saxon soil assessment tool as of 10/2021. For the first time, all 1200 guide profiles of the digital soil map used for the evaluation were subjected to a laboratory test of 1:50,000.
The ground map 1:50,000 is based on the 54 individual sheets of the Free State
Saxony. The new knowledge on soil and soil protection is successively incorporated into the assessments of soil functions. This information will be published with updates.
