Dataset description

The layer describes the typical soil type of the topsoil based on the profile descriptions of the substrate-horizontal groups in the nomenclature of the Soil Clinical Carting Instructions (KA5), p. 141ff, fig. 17 and table 30. Soil types are distinguished according to the grain size composition of their mineral stock.
