Dataset description
The data set contains all sub-areas as a forestry economic unit in the Free State of Saxony. For each sub-area, subdivision number, department number, forest part address, forest farm number, forest ownership type, forest district number and area number are indicated and differentiated whether they are forest or non-forestry farm area according to the Saxon Forest Act (SächsWaldG). Forest economic units are formed within the framework of the forestry facility for each forest operation and updated on the deadline. The data collected, the so-called basic forest data, are the basis for the economic use of the forest. They are stored in the forest database as well as in geoinformation systems and visualised in various maps of the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
