Dataset description

The data set contains the forest districts in the Free State of Saxony. Each forest district can be formed from several subpolygons. Forest districts are the forest-organizational administrative unit below the level of the Landesforstverwaltung. For each forest district, the forest district number is given next to the name. Forest districts are part of the forest basic data/forest base map and the basis for the recording and running of all basic forest data and the derived other map species in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
