Dataset description
The data set contains the forest parts (forest part agreement units) as a forest economic unit in the Free State of Saxony as single-part features. The entire area of Saxony is divided into so-called forest parts, whose borders are aligned with permanent natural and artificial objects. These are, for example, rivers, rock edges, roads, railway lines. Each part of the forest clearly separates itself from another part of the forest. For each part of the forest, the forest part designation and the forest part name are given. Forest parts are part of the forest basic data/forest base map and the basis for the recording and running of all basic forest data and the derived other map species in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
