Dataset description

The data set contains the forest organisation units in the Free State of Saxony as multipart features. Forest organizational units are forest districts and areas. For each area, forest district number, forest district name, area number, area name and classification as a state or care forest area are indicated. Forest district and district structure are part of the forest basic data/forest base map and the basis for the recording and running of all forest basic data and the derived other map species in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
