Dataset description
The data set contains the forest and non-forestry farm areas grouped by forest ownership species per forest area in the Free State of Saxony. The data set makes it possible to consider the types of forest property in relation to the areas created by the intersection of corridors and forest areas. Per forest area, depending on the type of ownership and the corridors, the area of the forest area for wood floor and non-wood floor can be determined. For each intersection area, type of ownership, forest district, forest area, administrative district number, administrative district name, district number, district name, municipality code, municipality name, area number, landmark name, hall number, landmark name, lower survey authority, in addition a distinction is made whether it is wood floor or non-wood floor. Forest property types are federal forest, state forest, corporate forest, private forest, escrow forest, and church forest. The forest property types are part of the forest basic data/forest base map and the basis for the recording and running of all basic forest data and the derived other map species in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
