Dataset description

The heterogeneity map describes the height heterogeneity, which was normalised with the middle height. A pixel value versus 0 means that the forest structures are very homogeneous, while a value against 100 indicates a heterogeneous structure. The map clearly depicts edge structures such as inner and outer edges. The FVA heterogeneity map is calculated from aerial images of the last 3 years and updated annually.
