Geological Overview Saxony-Anhalt Tektonik, Geological Structure (GÜK400Tectonics)

The presentation service for the Geological Survey of Saxony-Anhalt is being revised and is currently not available (end quarter 1 2021). The map illustrates the saxon plaice construction of the Table Deck Mountains dominated by hercynical and archeological structures as well as the spread of salt structures (salt sticks, salt pillows). The tectonic structure depicted is essentially determined by the disturbances occurring in the subsalinar. The compilation is based on numerous sources, the disorder pattern in particular on reflection seismic examinations (Reinhardt 1983, 1993, Köhler et al. 1989). In the material data, the names of the plaice (e.g. with subunits), the names of the disturbances and the salt structures are entered.
