Collection of Geoscientific Literature North Rhine-Westphalia The total holding of the library of the GD NRW currently amounts to more than 170 000 media units, including more than 14,000 maps. 1 280 journals, series and magazine-like series are in the library’s holdings, almost 700 of which are constantly sourced. The annual growth in stock is approximately 1 400 media units. All accesses since 1993 are recorded in an allegro-database, the retro-conversion (old stock recording) of the geoscientific NRW literature since 1945 is currently in progress
