Dataset description

References to biotope areas protected by law or partly protected by law in accordance with § 30(2) BNatSchG or § 13(1) HAGBNatSchG. The available information on areas with legally protected biotopes is the result of an evaluation of the Hessian biotope mapping (HB), whose surveys in the years 1992 to 2006 are based on the map of the topographic map in scale 1: 25,000 took place.
