GK50/GK50dig Geological map of the glacially covered areas of Saxony 1: 50 000

The geological map of the glacially covered areas of Saxony 1: 50 000 (GK50) essentially covers the areas of the Saxon lowlands and hills, as well as parts of the mountain and mountain foreland, insofar as they are covered by glacial sediments of significant thickness. It represents the geological construction and recent development of the landscape in the Free State of Saxony. The looser and fixed rocks on the terrain surface are reproduced in the map image (surface map).
