GPS coordinates for geotourist objects in Hamburg

The Geological State Office provides the GPS coordinates of 248 geotourist objects, which you can explore on off-road excursions. In addition to the well-known geotopes, these include relatively unknown objects such as the roestones on the Elbe, the Robertshall lignite mine in the Harburg mountains or the boulders that were uncovered during the construction of the Osterbek Canal in 1901/02. Also curious things like the “rocks” at the Hagenbeck zoo or the “Grotte” in Altona were not forgotten. The coordinates of the described geo-objects can be downloaded as “waypoint files” for the navigation systems TomTom (TomTom Navigator 5.x and TomTomGO) and Garmin (GarminMetroGuide and Garmin Roads & Recreation). If you are using other navigation systems, please download the ASCII file from which you can create appropriate Waypoint files with the program NH-Top50Trans.
