The gravimetric map provides important information about the construction of the deeper subsurface and thus enables us to better understand processes of plate tectonics or mountain formation. For the gravimetric overview map, measured values from different measuring programs were used. For example, regional heavy-duty measurements with 1.5 km measuring point spacing, local measuring networks with 250-500 m point spacing and special measurements with 25-100 m measuring point spacing were included in the machining process. On the basis of these values, a network of 500 m grid point spacing was interpolated to form the basis for the present isoline map. Map of BOUGUER severe disorder, 1994
