Grid spread of target species of flora in the Land of Bremen As part of the integrated collection programme “IEP” of the Nature Conservation Authority Bremen since 2004, mappings for target species of flora and fauna have been carried out at regular intervals and for defined sub-areas in Bremen since 2004. Grid distribution for endangered species in the Red List of fern and flowering plants in Lower Saxony and Bremen is determined by evaluating the mapping carried out under the IEP. The evaluation is carried out only as presence-absence representation. The grid used complies with the EU’s requirements for reporting on the Habitats Directive.
