Dataset description

Map 5.9 gives an overview of the distribution and nature on the basis of around 500 waters the healing, mineral and thermal water resources in Germany. The map is based on data provided by the state geological services of the federal states or which have been additionally researched. In areas where uses of mineral waters of a similar chemical composition accumulate, only a representative selection of signatures is represented by scale. If several analysis is present from one water, the current value is used.
