On April 7, 2003, a laser scanning flight took place in Braunschweig. The results are classified elevation points of the surface with a dot density of 1 point/m². The accuracy of the measurement data is ± 0.15 m. However, it is usually much better, as comparisons of reference areas showed. A regular point grid was derived from the original irregularly distributed laser scan point cloud. This can be delivered in different raster widths as a record in various data formats. On request, individually pronounced elevation representations, e.g. height lines, digital terrain model (DGM) and digital surface model (DOM) can be offered as a data set or map.
